Founded by Kevin Lobisser in 1996, Lobisser Building Corp began as a construction company focused on residential development. Over time, Kevin expanded his vision into a multi-division enterprise that now includes real estate development, property ownership, solar infrastructure, and large-scale industrial projects — operating collectively as Lobisser Companies.

Lobisser Companies is a full-service construction and development firm specializing in residential, commercial, medical, and industrial projects. With a strong foundation in hands-on experience and decades of leadership, we create spaces that support smart growth, long-term value, and strong community impact.

Kevin began his career in 1983 at the early age of 13 when he went to work for his cousin’s large excavation company. He spent the next 12 years gaining hands-on construction experience while earning money to put himself through college. During that time, he advanced to managing a six-person crew, installing new roadways, utilities, and drainage systems for residential subdivisions, industrial parks, and municipalities.

In 1996, Kevin founded Lobisser Building Corp, launching what would become the foundation of Lobisser Companies. His initial focus was residential development — planning, designing, permitting, and building over 1,000 single-family homes, condominiums, and rental units throughout Massachusetts.

As his vision expanded, Kevin went on to develop and own a diverse portfolio of properties, including medical office buildings and apartment complexes. He also developed and owns three solar farms with approximately 4 megawatts of production. One of his most ambitious undertakings was an eight-year-long project: a 13-mile linear industrial park along the Grafton Upton rail line.

Over the past decade, Kevin has focused on industrial, medical, and laboratory ground-up construction — continuing to guide Lobisser Companies with an entrepreneurial mindset, strong community values, and a commitment to smart, sustainable growth.
